Event Description:

How does healthcare provider involvement impact medical cannabis use and patient outcomes? This journal club will analyze a recent study exploring whether patients who collaborate with a cannabis clinician or inform their primary care provider (PCP) about their medical cannabis use experience improved efficacy, different cannabinoid dosing patterns, or fewer side effects.

We will examine the implications of professional oversight in cannabinoid therapy and discuss how these findings could influence clinical practice, patient education, and healthcare policy. Bring your questions and insights for an engaging discussion!
